Army chief appointment will be as per Constitution: Sanaullah

Sanaullah said that appointment of next army chief is the prerogative of PM Shehbaz Sharif.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Minister for Interior Rana Sanaullah on Monday said that the army chief s appointment is a constitutional matter and would decide in line with the Constitution.
Rana Sanaullah said that appointment of next army chief is the prerogative of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He said the prime minister will make a decision on the appointment of next army chief in next few days.
He said the procedure for the appointment of the army chief would be made in line with the Constitution.
Lashing out at the Punjab Government, Rana Sanaullah said that the provincial government s resources were being utilized by PTI leaders for holding long march towards Islamabad. The minister termed the PTI s long march as tamasha march .
The minister also said the PTI s leadership should acquire permission from Islamabad Capital Territory s administration for holding protest at designated place as government would be provide security to them.
