Senators’ group constituted for inviting Azam Swati to appear before committee
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Senate special committee on Tuesday formed a group of senators for inviting Azam Swati to appear before the committee over the objectionable video.
The Senate special committee, in its key decision, has included Senator Tahir Bizenjo, Dilawar Khan and Mushtaq Khan in the committee. The committee conveyer said that the members of the committee will request Azam Swati to appear before the committee by making their way to his [Swati] house.
In this regard, Senator Faisal Sabzwari said that he hopes only Azam Swati has a video in his possession, adding that he strongly opposed the ‘video culture’ which is increasing day by day. “Even today, the video of one of the politicians surfaced, which I believe is fabricated. If no laws exist to stop the ongoing trends of video leaks, then there is a dire need for legislation in this regard, added Sabzwari.
