KARACHI (Dunya News) - The court on Tuesday issued notice to Dania Shah and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) pertaining to the request for registration of case against Dania Shah, third wife of late Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain.

According to the details, a petition was filed in the local court against Dania Shah, on which the court sought an answer from the FIA.

The court inquired that what action was taken against Dania Shah for making Aamir Liaquat’s video viral and has there been any other request for trail against her?

The court further ordered a detailed report to be submitted on the matter on July 6.

The petitioner took stance in the request that Dania Shah has committed a crime by making her husband’s video public. Therefore, a case should be registered against her.

Advocate Amir Jameel termed it to be one of the reasons for Aamir Liaquat’s death. FIA should be ordered to register a case, he said.

Meanwhile, a six-member medical board has been formed for the exhumation of Aamir Liaquat’s body and to conduct an autopsy on court’s orders.

As per the notification, the team would exhume Amir’s body on June 23 and conduct an autopsy to confirm if he died of natural reasons or was murdered.
