One killed, one injured in two separate road accidents in Lahore

Rescue teams have shifted the injured to hospital for medical treatment.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – One person was killed and another was wounded in two separate road accidents in Lahore on late Friday night, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the first accident occurred near Dharampura Bypass where a 40-year-old man was crushed to death by a speeding truck. The eye-witnesses informed that the deceased was crossing the road when he was run over by the truck.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead body to the morgue for autopsy. Police sources said that the identity of the deceased is not yet known.
The second accident occurred near Scheme More area of Allama Iqbal Town where a 25-year-old youth, indentified as Asad, was wounded when the motorcycle he was riding on was hit by a rickshaw.
