Dense fog disrupts road, air traffic in Punjab, KP

Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Dense fog in different cities of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday has adversely disrupted road and air traffic.
According to details, the flight operation at the Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore was disrupted as the visibility dropped below 50 meters and several incoming or outgoing flights were either delayed or cancelled.
The thick fog has adversely affected the road traffic and different section of the Motorway Section were closed for traffic.
On the other hand, cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country while very cold in hilly areas during the next twelve hours.
Cloudy weather is expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while cloudy weather and light rain/snow is expected in Gilgit Baltistan and adjoining areas.
