Cabinet approves extradition of accused Abdul Qadir to Britain
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal cabinet on Tuesday approved extradition of accused Abdul Qadir Ehsan to Britain from Pakistan.
A meeting of the federal cabinet was held with Prime Minister Imran Khan in chairman. During the meeting, Home Ministry presented the summary of the extradition of the accused to the UK which was approved.
The cabinet postponed the approval of the summary for the establishment of National Institute of Intelligence and Security Studies, while appointment of Karachi Port Trust chairman for two years was approved.
In addition, the meeting also approved the notification of Pakistan Tobacco Board, while appointment of 3 members in the Pakistan Board of Statistics and Memorandum of Understanding between the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority and the Chinese Ministry of Environment were also approved.
The federal cabinet also approved the appointment of three members in the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics and the release of additional expenditure statements for the last six months of the current financial year.
