Pakistan reports 3,747 coronavirus cases, 61 deaths in 24 hours

Pakistan has so far conducted 18,053,326 coronavirus tests

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 61 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 1,179,305. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 26,175 on Sunday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 3,747 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.


Province-wise Details


Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 12,039 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 6,955 in Sindh, 5,087 in KP, 873 in Islamabad, 706 in Azad Kashmir, 340 in Balochistan, and 175 in GB.

Furthermore 437,311 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 401,373 in Punjab 164,732 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 100,758 in Islamabad, 32,718 in Azad Kashmir, 32,374 in Balochistan and 10,039 in Gilgit-Baltistan.


Tests and Recoveries


Pakistan has so far conducted 18,053,326 coronavirus tests and 57,908 in the last 24 hours. 1,060,881 patients have recovered in the country whereas 5,506 patients are in critical condition.
