Balochistan reports 44 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours
COVID Positivity Ratio in Balochistan on Sunday was recorded at 5.15 percent.
QUETTA (Dunya News) - At least 44 more persons were tested positive for coronavirus in Balochistan on Sunday while number of total confirmed patients surged to 31,252in the province, Dunya News reported.
According to media coordinator provincial Health Directorate Cell Balochistan Dr Muhammad Wasim Baig, at least 1,024,132 people were screened for the virus till August 29 out of which 44 more were reported positive in the last 24 hours.
He also informed that there are 513 active coronavirus cases in the province while 30,401 affected patients have been recovered from the coronavirus so far.
He said that at least 338 persons have so far died of coronavirus in Balochistan. Moreover, COVID Positivity Ratio on Friday was recorded at 5.15 percent in the province.
