Pakistan reports 3,909 coronavirus cases, 69 deaths in 24 hours

Pakistan has so far conducted 17,647,941 coronavirus tests

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 69 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 1,152,481. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 25,604 on Sunday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 3,909 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.


Province-wise Details


Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 11,799 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 6,812 in Sindh, 4,927 in KP, 861 in Islamabad, 694 in Azad Kashmir, 338 in Balochistan, and 173 in GB.

Furthermore 429,422 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 389,688 in Punjab, 160,759 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 98,739 in Islamabad, 32,157 in Balochistan, 31,861 in Azad Kashmir and 9,855 in Gilgit-Baltistan.


Tests and Recoveries


Pakistan has so far conducted 17,647,941 coronavirus tests and 62,918 in the last 24 hours. 1,033,373 patients have recovered in the country whereas 5,639 patients are in critical condition.
