Pakistan reports 4,016 coronavirus cases, 95 deaths in 24 hours

Pakistan has so far conducted 17,520,285 coronavirus tests.

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 95 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 1,144,341. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 25,415 on Friday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 4,016 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.


Province-wise Details


Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 11,706 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 6,766 in Sindh, 4,884 in KP, 860 in Islamabad, 689 in Azad Kashmir, 338 in Balochistan, and 172 in GB.

Furthermore 427,037 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 386,578 in Punjab, 159,483 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 97,956 in Islamabad, 32,014 in Balochistan, 31,478 in Azad Kashmir and 9,795 in Gilgit-Baltistan.


Tests and Recoveries


Pakistan has so far conducted 17,520,285 coronavirus tests and 62,496 in the last 24 hours. 1,026,082 patients have recovered in the country whereas 5,515 patients are in critical condition.
