Sheikh Rasheed condemns firing incident on FC vehicle
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Minister for Interior Sheikh Rasheed on Saturday strongly condemned the incident of firing by terrorists on FC vehicle in Loralai, Balochistan.
In a message, the interior minister said such incidents would not shake the resolve of security forces to resolutely fight the menace of terrorism.
He expressed deep grief over the loss of Shaheed Naik Shareef in the incident. He extended his condolence to the bereaved family.
He said the morals of security forces are high and they are determined to neutralize such nefarious designs at all costs.
Earlier, a Frontier Corps soldier was martyred, and two others were injured in a terrorist attack on their vehicle near Loralai, Balochistan, a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
According to ISPR, the terrorists attacked the vehicle in the Shahrag area of Loralai district.
The troops responded effectively, killing three terrorists. In the firing, Naik Sharif was martyred while Major Qasim and a sepoy were wounded who were shifted to CMH Quetta, the statement added.
In a separate incident a day earlier, one terrorist was killed while another was apprehended during an action by security forces in South Waziristan.
During intense exchange of fire, one security personnel embraced martyrdom, ISPR added.
The apprehended terrorist revealed that they had planned to conduct a fire raid on a military post.
The ISPR said Pakistan Army is determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism. It said sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
