Accountability court orders NAB to file reference against Khawaja Asif
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Accountability Court has ordered the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to file a reference against Khawaja Asif without any unnecessary delay.
According to details, the accountability court has issued a written decision on Khawaja Asif s request for exemption from attendance till the NAB reference is filed. The written order of the Accountability Court said that the special prosecutor of NAB should inform the investigation officer regarding the filing of reference.
The decision said that there is no point in proceeding with the case without NAB reference. Khawaja Asif will be summoned in the trial after the NAB reference.

It may be recalled that NAB had arrested Khawaja Asif from Islamabad in assets beyond means case who is currently on bail granted by the Lahore High Court (LHC).
