Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan sacks all Punjab govt spokespersons
Chohan ordered to issue notification for removal of all spokespersons.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Newly appointed Spokesperson of Punjab Government Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan on Friday sacked all spokespersons working with the provincial government.
The provincial government’s spokesperson also ordered to issue notification for removal of all spokespersons.
According to a new notification issued by the government, Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan will be only spokesperson in Punjab and all other existing government spokespersons have been removed.
Talking to Dunya News, Fayyaz Chohan said that he would fulfill the responsibility entrusted to him and he is thankful that the Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar for once again trusting me.
“I would bring out the performance of the Punjab government in the last three years,” he said and added the provincial government has done record development work in three years.
Earlier, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader had been appointed as spokesman of Punjab government.
Punjab CM Sardar Usman Buzdar had approved the appointment of Fayaz-ul-Hassan Chohan.
According to the notification, "Chief Minister has been pleased to appoint Mr. Fayaz-ul-Hassan Chohan, Minister for Prisons, Punjab, as Official Spokesperson for the Government of Punjab till further orders."
"Chohan will continue to hold his ministry along with this new charge for now. Further necessary action may be taken accordingly," the notification added.
It is to be mentioned here that Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan had replaced Chohan in November last year.
