Court approves bail of Tareen group's Nazir Chohan
A case was registered against him at Lahore's Race Course Police Station.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A court in Lahore on Tuesday approved bail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) of Punjab Nazir Chohan.
The court ordered to release him after submission of surety bonds of worth Rs100,000.
Earlier in the day, police arrested Nazir Chohan over a case filed against him by Adviser to the Prime Minister on Accountability Shahzad Akbar.
The case against Nazir Chohan, who is part of Jahangir Tareen group, was filed at Lahore’s Race Course Police Station under Sections 506, 258, 189 and 153.
The complainant maintained that the accused leveled baseless allegations against him in a TV program.
