Consignment of coronavirus vaccine from China was delayed: Yasmin Rashid

LAHORE (Dunya News) – A large of people stormed into the building of Expo Center after shortage of coronavirus vaccine was reported.

Administration at the center stopped the process of vaccination and closed the counters after the public broke into Expo Center.

Meanwhile, Punjab Health Minister Yasmin Rashid exclusively talking to Dunya News, said that there is ample doses of Chinese Sinopharm and SinoVac are available and there is only shortage of AstraZeneca jabs.

Yasmin Rashid further said that China was to deliver vaccine supply on June 10 but it was delayed to June 20. She hoped that  the regular process will resume from Monday.


Shortage of coronavirus vaccines is criminal negligence: Marriyum


Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb on Saturday slammed government for shortage of coronavirus vaccine and termed it criminal negligence.

Marriyum Aurangzeb, in a statement, held Prime Minister Imran Khan responsible for the shortage and said that public is paying price of corruption and mismanagement of the premier. She asked Imran Khan to explain the reasons behind delay in procurement of the doses.


Sindh closes vaccination centers


It merits mention that Government of Sindh has announced closure of vaccination centers on Sunday in the province owing to shortage of the coronavirus vaccine.
