PM Imran gets briefing over electronic voting process

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Thursday has chaired a meeting related to electoral reforms in Islamabad.

According to details, the premier was briefed over the use of electronic voting machine (EVM) for elections. All the constitutional requirements should be fulfilled regarding e-voting process, PM Imran ordered.

Imran Khan further expressed pledge that the incumbent government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is determined to bring transparency in electoral process to prevent rigging. 

He also directed for early completion of electoral reforms.
