Pakistan reports 1,119 coronavirus cases, 46 deaths in 24 hours
Pakistan has so far conducted 13,971,689 coronavirus tests
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 46 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 945,184. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 21,874 on Thursday.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 1,119 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
Province-wise Details
Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths and cases followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Till now 10,586 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 5,292 in Sindh, 4,247 in KP, 773 in Islamabad, 571 in Azad Kashmir, 297 in Balochistan, and 108 in GB.
Furthermore 344,512 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 329,947 in Sindh, 136,474 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 82,253 in Islamabad, 26,409 in Balochistan, 19,844 in Azad Kashmir and 5,745 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Tests and Recoveries
Pakistan has so far conducted 13,971,689 coronavirus tests and 37,196 in the last 24 hours. 887,095 patients have recovered in the country whereas 2,494 patients are in critical condition.
