US Charge d' Affairs, calls on COAS General Bajwa
The visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistans efforts for bringing peace and stability in the region
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – The US Charge d’ Affairs to Pakistan Angela Aggeler called on the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ on Friday.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), matters pertaining to mutual interest, overall regional security situation including recent developments in the Afghan peace process came under discussion during the meeting.
Pakistan-US bilateral cooperation in various fields was also discussed in the meeting.
The visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistan’s sincere efforts for bringing peace and stability in the region, especially the Afghan peace process.
