FIA has no reason to continue the inquiry: Raja Riaz
LAHORE (Dunya News) MNA Raja Riaz, a senior leader of the Jahangir Khan Tareen group, has claimed that report of Ali Zafar has given clean chit to the former PTI secretary-general.
Raja Riaz has said that neutral empire has given decision in favor of Jahangir Tareen no fraud was proved against him in the sugar scam. Elements who were conspiracy against the PTI leader have failed miserably, he added.
Terming Ali Zafar’s report a victory of their stance, Raja Riaz said that now Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has no reason to continue the inquiry.
On the other hand, another group of link-minded lawmakers has become active and hosted a dinner for 15 members to discuss their reservations over lack of development projects for their constituencies in the upcoming budget.
The group agreed to inform Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar about their concerns.
