PPP decides to attend Shehbaz Sharif's dinner tonight
Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will not attend the dinner as he is not in the country.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has decided to attend dinner being hosted by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif tonight (Monday).
PPP Information Secretary Faisal Karim Kundi told that a three-member delegation comprising Yousuf Raza Gilani, Raja Pervez Ashraf and Sherry Rehman has been formed in this regard.
Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will not attend the dinner as he is not in the country, he added.
Faisal Karim Kundi said, “PPP would have no problem working with opposition parties, even if it be the PML-N.”
It is to be mentioned here that Shehbaz Sharif had reportedly telephoned Bilawal Bhutto to wish him on Eid-ul-Fitr whereas the PPP chief had congratulated the PML-N president on his party’s victory in Khushab by-elections.
