Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment starts inquiry into Rawalpindi Ring Road scandal
An eight member committee comprising legal, technical and economic experts have been formed.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment has started inquiry into the Rawalpindi Ring Road project as an eight member committee comprising legal, technical and economic experts have been formed.
According to details, the inquiry team will prepare a list of officers involved in the scam. A step-wise inquiry concerning civil works, PC-1, legal point of view and other aspects from the officers will be conducted.
Anti-Corruption Establishment DG Gohar Nafees said complete facts will be shared with the nation after completion of the inquiry. The department believes in impartial accountability according to the law, he stressed.
