Covid-19 Vaccination for 30-39 age group commences
People can register for the jabs by sending a sms at 1166
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Government, in order to control coronavirus spread in the country, has started vaccinations for persons aged 30 years and above from today.
National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) has urged people to register themselves for the jabs by sending their CNIC number to 1166.
On the other hand, Pakistan has reported 88 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 897,468. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 20,177 on Saturday.
According to the latest figures by the NCOC 4,007 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths and cases followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Till now 9,739 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 4,891 in Sindh, 3,900 in KP, 744 in Islamabad, 526 in Azad Kashmir, 270 in Balochistan, and 107 in GB.
