Pakistan reports 4,007 coronavirus cases, 88 deaths in 24 hours
Pakistan has so far conducted 12,717,235 coronavirus tests
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 88 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 897,468. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 20,177 on Saturday.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 4,007 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
Province-wise Details
Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths and cases followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Till now 9,739 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 4,891 in Sindh, 3,900 in KP, 744 in Islamabad, 526 in Azad Kashmir, 270 in Balochistan, and 107 in GB.
Furthermore 333,057 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 306,707 in Sindh, 129,013 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 80,156 in Islamabad, 24,413 in Balochistan, 18,651 in Azad Kashmir and 5,471 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Tests and Recoveries
Pakistan has so far conducted 12,717,235 coronavirus tests and 62,238 in the last 24 hours. 813,855 patients have recovered in the country whereas 4,412 patients are in critical condition.
