Acquittal plea of Saleem Mandviwalla in Kidney Hills reference rejected

Saleem Mandviwalla has been summoned for indictment on May 24.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – An accountability court in Lahore on Wednesday rejected the acquittal plea of former Senate deputy chairman Saleem Mandviwalla in the Kidney Hills reference pertaining to fake bank accounts.

The court decided to indict Saleem Mandviwalla and summoned him in this regard on May 24. Acquittal pleas of Aijaz Haroon and Abdul Ghani Majeed were also rejected and they were summoned as well for indictments.

AC Judge Muhammad Bashir announced the reserved verdict and declared that decision on petitions concerning permanent exemption from court hearing will be made after indictments.
