Maryam hopeful of winning NA-249 by-polls in recount
She said asking ECP for a recount on 2018 seats will be a windfall for PML-N
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz on Tuesday said that expressed happiness over Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) decision of recounting in NA-249 Karachi.
The PML-N vice president took to the twitter and said that, “Alhamdolillah we got recount & we hope to win Insha’Allah but even if we don’t, we will not relent and try all we can till we get our stolen votes and seat back. Will fight tooth and nail for the right of people of NA 249.”

She further said that the rigging will be caught whether it is caught in the recount or afterwards and the rigging won’t remain hidden for long. Maryam said, “We would not let go until the people of NA 249 get their rights back, adding that this is about the sanctity of vote of the people.”

Maryam Nawaz further said, “Asking ECP for a recount on 2018 seats will be a windfall for PML-N because PML-N will be the beneficiary now as it was the prime victim of DHANDLI then. Will enable PML-N to win all it seats it lost to dhandli by a margin of few hundred votes. Thank u PPP for the kind suggestion.”
