Attock: Terrorist involved in attack on former home minster killed during CTD operation
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Terrorist of a banned outfit involved in the attack on former home minister was killed during CTD operation in Attock.
The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) launched a major operation on intelligence reports, during which a terrorist who was involved in the attacked on former Home Minister Col (retd) Shuja Khanzada was killed.
According to the CTD officials, the suspects opened fire and threw hand grenades at the CTD police, one terrorist Niaz was killed and three others escaped during operation.
The slain terrorist was involved in the killing of more than two dozen civilians in 2014. Explosives and weapons were recovered from the terrorist.
