Situation may deteriorate if covid SOPs are not followed: Usman Buzdar
Usman Buzdar said the current wave of covid-19 is more dangerous than the previous ones.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar Wednesday said the current wave of covid-19 is more dangerous than the previous ones and situation may deteriorate if standard operating procedures (SOPs) are not followed.
The CM said in his statement that the positivity rate has increased and the health system is getting under pressure. Situation in some cities including Lahore is critical, he said while adding that the provincial regime has taken precautionary measures for the safety of citizens.
Usman Buzdar urged all to wear face mask terming it necessary for the safety of one’s family and oneself. He said cooperation of public to overcome the epidemic is indispensable. The number of patients is increasing owing to carelessness, he remarked.
