COAS visits logistics workshops in Rawalpindi, inspects maintenance of special equipment

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has praised the Commandant and workshop staff for achieving the milestone of overhauling various types of helicopters.

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Friday visited various logistics workshops in Rawalpindi and inspected special equipment maintenance workshops of the Pakistan Army.

On arrival at the workshops, Chief of Logistics Staff Lt. Gen. Azhar Saleh Abbasi received the COAS.

The Chief of Army Staff was briefed on vehicle upgrades and maintenance of stores and aviation assets, as well as on the complete overhaul of various helicopters in aviation workshops.

General Qamar Bajwa appreciated the performance of the workshops, saying that their hard work would help save foreign exchange. He commended the Commandant and workshop staff for the milestone achievement of overhauling helicopters.
