First batch of procured Chinese vaccine arrives in Pakistan: sources

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – First batch of procured Chinese vaccine of coronavirus has arrived in Pakistan, Dunya News reported citing sources.

According to details, the vaccine batch, which consists of 500,000 doses has been shifted to warehouse. The vaccine company Sinopharm will provide the jabs to Pakistan in phases.

The sources said that the frontline health workers and elderly people will get inoculated on priority basis.

It is to be mentioned here that the nationwide campaign to vaccinate people above sixty years and health workers against coronavirus is already underway.
