Islamabad: PM to distribute houses among laborers on Thursday
PM will distribute houses under the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan will distribute houses and flats among laborers in Islamabad on Thursday (tomorrow) under the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme.
As per details, over 1,000 flats and 500 houses have been constructed under the project, and will be handed over to widows, handicapped persons and laborers having income less than Rs 500,000.
Easy installments have been ensured for the worker class in this regard. The premier will also lay foundation stone of further 1,500 flats on the occasion.
It is pertinent here to mention that the project remained in limbo in the past as the former governments did not pay any attention. The contractors, as a result of non-issuance of funds, stopped the housing project which has now been completed after a delay of 11 years.
