Shahbaz Gill forgives people who threw ink, eggs at him
PML-N workers threw eggs and ink on the SAPM on Monday.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Communication Shahbaz Gill on Tuesday said that he has forgiven people those who threw ink and eggs at him.
Shahbaz Gill, in a tweet, said that he was attacked on the behest of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leadership which is using poor and daily wagers against him.
He further said that he forgives those who attacked him because he does not want to see any poor in jail. The PM’s aide also requested police not to humiliate arrested people.
Earlier, Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday took notice of the egg and ink attack on Special Assistant to Prime Minister for Political Communication Shahbaz Gill on Monday.
Justice Malik Shahzad expressed concern over the incident and said that every person who is coming to the court is respectable. He ordered officials to take strict action against people responsible for the incident after identifying them through CCTV footage.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers on Monday threw ink and eggs on Shahbaz Gill outside Lahore High Court.
Responding to the incident, Shahbaz Gill said that he will not be intimidated by this as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) believes in politics not bullying.
He said that opposition is in panic and resorting to unjustifiable tactics but he will not back down from his principled position no matter what. Tell Maryam Nawaz that I am not afraid of anyone, he said.
