ECP announces schedule for NA-249 by-elections
Faisal Vawda resigned from NA on March 3.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday announced schedule of by-elections in NA-249 after Faisal Vawda of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) resigned from National Assembly seat.
As per details, the nomination papers can be submitted from March 13 to March 17.
Faisal Vawda, after casting his vote for Senate election, resigned from National Assembly on March and submitted his resignation in Islamabad High Court (IHC).
Lawyer of PTI leader argued in the court that Faisal Vawda has resigned from the National Assembly which is why this petition seeking disqualification has become invalid.
