Every democrat is ashamed after what happened in Senate poll: CM Buzdar
PM Imran Khan's reservations concerning the Senate polls proved right, Usman Buzdar said.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar Thursday said every democrat is ashamed after what happened in the poll for the Senate’s Islamabad seat where notes won instead of votes.
The Punjab CM said in his statement that those who claimed fake sanctity of vote in the Senate elections openly humiliated it. Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) neutralized all democratic norms through horse-trading, he added.
Usman Buzdar said Abdul Hafeez Shaikh’s defeat is a loss of every democrat politician. Prime Minister Imran Khan’s reservations concerning the Senate polls proved right, he said while lauding the premier’s bold decision to take vote of confidence from the parliament.
