Lahore: Four killed in roof collapse
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Four people including children were killed when a roof of a house collapsed in Kot Lakhpat an area of Lahore.
According to details, the roof of a house collapsed in Housing Society in Kot Lakhpat area of Lahore as a result of which 4 members of a family were killed. The dead included 3-year-old Zain, 30-year-old Nazia, 17-year-old Neha and Zohi.
According to rescue sources, five people have been rescued from the rubble. The bodies of those killed in the incident have been shifted to the hospital for postmortem.
Police said an investigation into the incident is ongoing, and it is too early to say anything.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has expressed regret over the incident and demanded a report.
