Egyptian cargo plane makes emergency landing at Karachi airport
The plane developed a technical fault during flight and landed at the Karachi airport.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - An Egyptian cargo plane made an emergency landing at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport on Tuesday afternoon after it developed a technical fault, Dunya News reported.
The cargo flew from Karachi airport and was heading to Cairo when it developed a technical fault during flight and landed at the Karachi airport after getting permission from the Air Traffic Control (ATC).
The plane later made a safe landing at the Karachi airport with firefighters of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) taking it in a cover to meet any untoward incident.
According to sources, the plane would be allowed to fly again after addressing the issues it encountered mid-air.
