We will monitor so that the seminaries of the madrassas do not participate in the protest
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Minister for Interior Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed on Monday said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has submitted 40,000 notarized and authenticated transactions undertaken through proper banking channels to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) but the opposition failed to even submit data of 4,000 transactions.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Monday, he said that the foreign funding case is going to become a headache for the opposition. Terming the Broadsheet part two of the Panama case, the minister said that everyone stand exposed and finally they will all be trapped now, adding that Sheikh Rasheed will serve them with Halwa [sweet].
Sh Rasheed while warning the opposition leaders on their protest in front of ECP said that for the first time any government is allowing protest in the red zone and hoped that the opposition take the in their hands.
We will monitor so that the seminaries of the madrassas do not participate in the protest, adding that if that happens, legal action will be taken.
He went on to say that corruption will be eradicated by making visas online, adding that the decision on the passport of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif will be taken on February 16.
“We have decided to give Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) free hand, however, the ECP is a constitutional body and no one can be allowed to harass it," he said.
"PDM should know that the Supreme Court, the Parliament House and other institutions are situated on the Constitution Avenue and the government has taken all necessary security measures for their protection," he said and added we hope PDM will show responsibility.
