Motorway sections closed as fog continues to envelop parts of Punjab
The Motorway police have advised the drivers to switch on fog lights while driving.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Dense fog has blanketed several cities of Punjab including Lahore on night between Wednesday and Thursday, badly disrupting the road traffic and paralysing routine life, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the Motorway Section from Lahore to Sialkot and Motorway (M3) Section from Lahore to Nankana have been closed as visibility was very low due to dense fog.
Additional IG Motorways Police Shahid Hanif said the motorway was closed for the safety of passengers as dense fog has reduced the visibility down to zero at several places.
The Motorway police have advised the drivers to switch on fog lights while driving at very slow speed. The Motorway police have also requested the people to stay home and avoid unnecessary travelling as visibility was down to zero metres due to heavy fog.
