Karachi police foil major terror plot targeting Quaid-e-Azam Day, two terrorists arrested

KARACHI (Dunya News) - A major terror plot on the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam Day has been foiled in Karachi. Two terrorists of an Indian-funded organization have been arrested from Ittehad Town.

According to SSP Kemari, the terror network is being run by the Indian intelligence agency RAW and Kalashnikovs, 6kg of explosives and grenades were recovered from the terrorists.

The Karachi police said that the network was being run under the guise of a nationalist party led by a terrorist named Asghar Shah. The wanted terrorist is in contact with RAW and has gone in hiding in Afghanistan.

Police said that on June 19, one of the arrested terrorists, Muhammad Bachal, attacked law enforcement officials in Ghotki with a hand grenade, resulting in two officials being martyred. The second terrorist, Sohail Ahmed, had carried out a grenade attack on a school in Larkana on the same day.
