India preparing for surgical strike in Pakistan to divert attention from internal unrest: FM Qureshi
ABU DHABI (Dunya News) - Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi exposed India’s nefarious intentions and said that it is preparing to conduct a surgical strike in Pakistan to divert attention away from its internal unrest.
Addressing a press conference in Abu Dhabi on Friday, the Foreign Minister said that Pakistan is fully aware of India’s conspiracies. We are a peaceful country, but if India takes any reckless action towards us, a fitting response will be given, he said.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that India is playing a dangerous game to divert attention away from its worsening internal situation. It is also inciting terrorism in Pakistan, he added.
During his press conference, the Foreign Minister also expressed concern over the situation in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir and the discrimination being faced by minorities in India.
On the other hand, National Security Adviser Moeed Yousuf has said that there is credible information about a possible Indian conspiracy to strike inside Pakistan.
Moeed Yousaf said that India is worried about being exposed for its deeds and its frustration has reached comical levels. We have made it clear to the world that Pakistan is aware of India’s intentions.
The national security adviser said some countries were already aware of this reality. The world must remember that peace is a collective responsibility and it must stop India from destabilizing the region, he said.
He also said that there was no doubt that Pakistan is a peaceful country. However, if provoked, the armed forces are ready to thwart any attempt at aggression by the enemy.
