PDM application for Lahore rally will be considered as per law: Firdous Ashiq Awan

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to Chief Minister of Punjab for Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has accused Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) of wanting to play politics on dead bodies.

Firdous Ashiq Awan, in a tweet, said that opposition’s alliance is making statements without submitting a formal application for Lahore rally. She assured that the plea will be considered as per law when submitted.

She further said that as per vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, Punjab government under the leadership of Usman Buzdar passed record legislation and managed to get 68 bills passed from the provincial assembly.

The CM’s aide said that provincial government’s focus is to implement updated laws to provide protection to women, children and other weaker segments of the society.

She also said that the laws that were passed to bring back looted wealth, ending corruption and providing relief to masses, will play their role in national development.
