KARACHI (Dunya News) – A fire on Thursday has erupted at a two-storey residential building in New Karachi due to gas leakage, killing a 10-year-old boy on the spot and injuring six others.

According to security personnel, the explosion occurred when someone ignited a cigarette amidst gas leakage. One part of the building has been collapsed due to the blaze that broke out following the blast, they told.
Moreover, the victims have been shifted to the nearby hospital for medical assistance while the operation has also been started to remove the debris.
