Fazlur Rehman inciting people on violence: Shibli Faraz
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Information Minister Shibli Faraz has said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman is inciting people to pick up sticks. Government has all the options, if the government took action there will be no place to hide.
Speaking on Dunya News program "Ikhtalafi Note", he said that any party holding a rally, including PTI, is wrong. We have to save the lives of the people in the second wave of Coronavirus. Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has made Multan a battlefield since yesterday. If someone took the law into hands, the law will come into force.
Shibli Faraz said that in a democracy there are talks but the obstacle is not the government but the opposition. On the one hand, the opposition is raising the sticks while on the other hand, Shehbaz Sharif is talking about dialogue. Which group should we listen to, when they turn around and talk about the NRO, the talks fail, he added.
The Federal Minister for Information said that the Prime Minister has made it clear that every issue can be discussed except corruption cases.
He said there is a big contradiction in the words and deeds of the opposition. The opposition did not attend the Coronavirus meeting. The opposition also gave priority to self-interest during the FATF legislation.
Answering a question, he said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman was pushing the people towards violence but we also have all the options. If the government took an action, then they will have no place to hide. Should any leader make such a statement.
