Munir Akram said that India is carrying out terrorism in Pakistan to sabotage CPEC
NEW YORK (Dunya News) - Pakistan representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Munir Akram, has said that India is involved in terrorism in Pakistan, Dunya News reported.
Pakistan handed over UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres a dossier on Tuesday accusing India of stoking terrorism in Pakistan, a day after India provided a dossier to some UN Security Council members accusing militants from Pakistan of attempting an attack in the disputed Indian territory Kashmir.
Pakistan s U.N. Ambassador Munir Akram accused India of violating international law, the U.N. Charter and Security Council resolutions by sponsoring terrorism.
He said Pakistan called on Guterres and the international community "to take note of Indian terrorism and subversion against Pakistan and to prevail on India to desist from these illegal and aggressive activities."
Munir Akram said that India is carrying out terrorism in Pakistan to sabotage CPEC and added that in case of any aggression, Pakistan has the right to defend itself.
Talking to Dunya News, Munir Akram, said that India was involved in the attack on the Army Public School in Peshawar. He said that India has set up a special cell at a cost of 500 million to carry out terrorism in Pakistan.
