Federal government will be sent packing by January: Chairman PPP
GILGIT (Dunya News) – Chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday said that political parties that are part of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) received most votes in Gilgit-Baltistan elections.
Bilawal Bhutto said that public of Gilgit-Baltistan is with PPP as clear majority of voters supported the party. We will take the case of Gilgit-Baltistan to public through platform of PDM, he announced.
Criticizing role of election commission, he said that the election commissioner is claiming that the polls were transparent on television but he did not even let PPP candidate to be part of election campaign. From day one, we are saying that this election commission is actually election wing of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
He also said that PTI has not announced their chief minister candidate for the region and they are telling every victorious independent candidates that he will be made CM if he joins the PTI.
Talking about federal government, he said that the government will be sent packing by January.
