Two soldiers martyred during exchange of fire with terrorists near South Waziristan
Operation is in progress for area clearance: ISPR
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Two soldiers of Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom and one other was wounded in exchange of fire with the terrorists near Pash Ziarat area of South Waziristan, military’s media wing said in a statement on Thursday.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorists fired on the security forces’ check post. The security forces promptly responded. Havaldar Matloob Alam, age 32 years and sepoy Suleman Shaukat age 25 years embraced shahadat during the exchange of fire.
ISPR further said that clearance operation is underway in the area.
