Shehbaz Sharif embezzled Rs 51.52 crore funds of own party: Firdous Ashiq

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister on Information, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif claimed that he did not commit corruption of a single penny but embezzled Rs 515,271,000 from his own party’s funds.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader took to Twitter on Wednesday and said Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif received crores of rupees from his Members National Assembly (MNAs), Members Provincial Assembly (MPAs) and owners of private housing societies.
According to documents, money was transferred from 2010 to 2015 into the account of Nisar Trading Company owned by Sharif Group’s worker Rashid Karamat, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said.
