Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui was provided a diplomatic passport by RAW, Mustafa Kamal said.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chairman Syed Mustafa Kamal has on Monday leveled allegations against Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui of collaborating with India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).

Mustafa Kamal held a press conference in Karachi and accused that Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui went to India in 2000 on the directions of MQM’s founder, held meeting with the RAW officials and spoke against Pakistan. He tore up his Pakistani passport and travelled to America on a diplomatic passport provided by RAW, the PSP chief alleged.

Syed Mustafa Kamal said Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui was arrested by the US officials and was released on bail. He returned to Pakistan after thirteen years and became MQM-P head, Mustafa Kamal said while adding that MQM-P was made owing to necessity.

He further added that the party’s name, symbol and flag all were chosen by the MQM founder and it is him, not Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Amir Khan, who comes to mind when MQM’s name is used. I had informed about MQM and RAW’s connection four and a half years ago, the PSP chairman stressed.
