Application filed against Fawad Ch for registration of treason case
LAHORE (Dunya News) – An application for registration of treason case against Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry has been filed by Advocate Rohail Asghar in Civil Lines Police Station. The complaint is based on his Pulwama statement in the National Assembly.
According to details, a series of applications for registration of treason cases are underway between the government and opposition members. Now an application has been filed against Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry for treason.
Application was filed by an advocate named Rohail Asghar at the Civil Lines police station. It seeks registration of a treason case against Fawad Chaudhry on the basis of his statement.
It may be recalled that earlier cases were registered against the PML-N leadership in Shahdara police station.
Meanwhile, an application for registration of treason case was also submitted against PML-N leader Ayaz Sadiq in the Civil Line police station on which a case has not been registered yet.
Police said that they have received requests that have been sent to the Legal Department for legal action. Action will be taken in accordance with the law.
