ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) topped the list of those political parties who filed the most complains of rigging in the 2018 elections.
According to the details, Dunya News has obtained new interesting statistics regarding the rigging of the 2018 elections.
According to the data obtained by Dunya News, PTI is at the top among the complainants of fraud, PML-N is at the second position and PPP is at the third position. A total of 299 election petitions were filed in the Election Commission.
The highest number of complaints of fraud was lodged by the ruling party PTI, while the PTI complained of fraud in 23 constituencies of the National Assembly and 53 constituencies of the Provincial Assemblies.
PML-N has filed petitions regarding 28 constituencies of provincial assemblies and 15 of the National Assembly.
The PPP complained about 9 constituencies in the National Assembly and 20 in the Provincial Assembly.
Other political and independent candidates filed 151 complaints for the National and Provincial Assemblies. Election tribunals ruled on petitions related to 210 constituencies.
