Imran Ismail said a plan has been devised for Karachi with the help of all stakeholders.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Governor Imran Ismail on Tuesday said he has witnessed seriousness regarding the Karachi issues for the first time in his political career.

Imran Ismail held a media talk along with Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar and said a plan has been devised for Karachi with the help of all stakeholders.

“An impartial administrator will be appointed in the metropolis and Prime Minister Imran Khan will announce plan after visiting the metropolis.

“Accountability will be held of responsible persons for not cleaning nullahs. Lands were allotted across drains where illegal homes were made. We will solve all issues of the provincial capital at any cost.

“It is not the federal government’s duty to work when the Sindh government is receiving funds. We have to work together for Karachi regardless of our political affiliations. The entire city submerges after one-hour rain.”
